Last updated: September 2026 — Applies to Network Copilot for Android (com.xamltech.networktool) by XamlTech.

1. What We Collect

On-device network data. Diagnostics (IP addresses, MAC/BSSID, SSID, DNS servers, ping latency, port and scan results) are computed on your device to power the tools you run. This data stays on your phone unless you export or share it.

Account data. If you sign in with Google or email/password, we store your profile name, email, and anonymized usage so your history can sync to your own account.

AI Copilot prompts. When you ask the Copilot to analyze a result, the diagnostic context and your prompt are sent to the AI provider you choose — cloud (Gemini, Kimi) or a local Ollama server on your own network. Nothing is sent with a local provider. You can delete prompt history at any time.

2. Analytics & Crash Reports

We use Google Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics in aggregate to understand feature adoption and stability. These services collect anonymized, device-level data (OS version, screen size, app version) and crash traces with app version/build type. We do not sell this data.

3. Advertising

The free tier shows ads served by Google AdMob and may present rewarded ads to unlock extra AI prompts. AdMob and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve ads under Google's own privacy policy, which you can review at policies.google.com/privacy.

4. Permissions

Network Copilot asks for nearby Wi-Fi devices, location (for Wi-Fi scanning), post-notifications, and access to network connections — only where a tool you run needs them, and never in the background without cause. You can deny or revoke any permission in Android Settings at any time.

5. Your Controls

Mask sensitive data by default is on: IPs, MACs and SSIDs are hidden behind a reveal toggle, and you can export or delete your own reports and history from the app at any time. Signing out removes synced account history from the device.
